Case Study: Nasser

Nasser v. County of Clark (2007)

When the County of Clark, Nevada implemented its master plan to develop an 1,800 + acre wetlands park in Las Vegas, it surrounded our client’s 70+ acres with a public park. The County then offered only limited use values to our client.

Our office was successful in investigating and developing the facts which substantiated that the government’s actions amounted to an inverse condemnation. We were able to force the government to pay in excess of $29,000,000.00 as just compensation to the landowners when the original offer was $2,500,000.00.
